Driver Group confident after ‘excellent’ year

LANCASHIRE construction and engineering consultancy, the Driver Group, will post improved improved full-year results in December after an “excellent” year.

In a pre-close trading update the Rawtenstall-based company said revenue was “significantly” ahead while pre-tax profits were in line with expectations.

The year end net cash position was better than expected at more than £1m.

The company said: “Africa, Europe and the Middle East all finished the year strongly with good forward order books for the new financial year. 

“The recently opened Hong Kong office and potential of the Australia office provide optimism for the Asia Pacific Region following a year of investment.”
