BRUNTWOOD has appointed DTZ and CBRE to market Overseas House on Deansgate which it is giving a £4.5m makeover and rebranding as Deansgate&Quay.

The building will have 52,122 sq ft of open plan office space across six floors, offering individual floor plates of 8,687 sq ft.

Development director Peter Crowther said: “Deansgate&Quay will create a state-of-the-art urban contemporary workspace for Manchester professionals in the heart of the City’s business district. We are delighted to be working with the teams at DTZ and CBRE in the marketing of Deansgate&Quay and look forward to welcoming new occupiers to the scheme in the near future.”

DTZ director Rob Yates said: “The supply of Grade A and good quality Grade B office accommodation has become particularly constrained given the lack of new development and major refurbishments in recent years. Deansgate&Quay will therefore help to fill this void and we envisage the exceptional refurbishment proposals will have significant appeal in the market. It has some imaginative proposals for this high profile building and prospective occupiers can be assured that the accommodation will be delivered to the highest quality within the timeframe specified.”
