Appointments: Capital & Centric; Livingcity Group; Aztec; Indigo

MANCHESTER developer Capital & Centric has hired Anna Dooley from Knight Frank as a development surveyor.
Dooley will be working on existing development projects and also seeking new opportunities for the company. She previously worked in valuation, office and industrial agency in Knight Frank’s Manchester office.
She said: “I was attracted to Capital & Centric because of the number of exciting projects that it is currently involved with as well as an interesting pipeline of projects.
“The team here are really enthusiastic about what they do and I’m looking forward to the challenges of my new role.”

PLANNING consultancy Indigo Planning has strengthened its senior team of its Manchester office with the promotion of Sarah Wozencroft to associate director.
She will develop the company’s strategic land promotion and residential portfolios and work with clients including Commercial Estates Group, Seddon Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
Wozencroft has been part of the Manchester team for almost 10 years. Her recent work includes securing permission for around 1,000 new homes across three strategic mixed-use sites in the North West and West Midlands, as well as participating in both the Stafford Local Plan and Tattenhall Neighbourhood Plan Examinations and progressing schemes including three appeals in Cheshire East.

LiVERPOOL construction company Aztec has appointed Debbie Thompson as a non-executive commercial director.
Thompson previously worked in the banking industry for almost 30 years as a senior commercial manager at HSBC, then head of Merseyside Business Centre for Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank.
She then went on to become head of commercial for St Helens Rugby League Club, and was instrumental in the move from Knowsley Road to the club’s new Langtree Park stadium. Two years ago she launched her own consultancy business and is a registered Growth Accelerator coach.
She said: “Aztec is a growing company with an extremely positive outlook and excellent reputation. My experience in business development and commercial expansion sits well with Aztec, and I am very much looking forward to playing a role in continuing to take the company forward.

MANCHESTER-based property manager The Livingcity Group has appointed Andrew Taylor to its residential estate management division as site manager.
His responsibilities include the day-to-day management of the properties and staff within Livingcity’s residential management portfolio as well as working closely with residents and property owners.
His appointment follows the arrival of Wendy Walker from The Guinness Partnership a couple of months ago. The Livingcity Group employs over 30 head office-based staff with a further 100 either onsite or field-based.
Managing director Mark Gallimore said: “This year has been an exciting one for the firm and our focus has been on growing a strong and robust team to meet the demands of our clients and residents. The real estate management division is a core part of our business and Andrew is a great addition to it.”
