KMP Digitata secures £500,000 from North West Fund
STOCKPORT digital agency KMP Digitata has secured £515,000 from the North West Fund to commercialise its AeroParker airport parking software which allows travellers to pre-book space.
Under the terms of the deal former Manchester Airports Group managing director Andrew Cornish and Darren Payne, the former head of parking at Gatwick, have joined the board as non-executive directors along with Rod Hyde, former chief executive of Hasgrove.
AeroParker allows people to pre-book and pay for parking as well as order other airport-related services.
KMP Digitata wants to expand the service in the UK, continental Europe and the US. It is already in use at five UK airports with further white label products are being used by Monarch, Premier Inn and BMI Baby.
Chief executive and co-founder Jon Keefe said: “This investment represents a step change for KMP. We are thrilled to secure the finance which will drive significant growth for KMP. Moreover the AeroParker product will create further opportunities to sell our specialist digital marketing services and expertise to airports in Europe and the US.”
