Shed News: International Automotive Components; QTRAM; CR Laurence

JAGUAR Land Rover supplier International Automotive Components (IAC) has taken a 30,500 sq ft unit in Widnes.

IAC will operate the unit at Speke Approach, Wheldon Road, alongside its 77,000 sq ft facility at Speke Boulevard adjacent to the JLR plant in Speke.

The company, which makes dashboard consoles for the Evoque, has agreed a sub-let deal with Rentokil Initial, which had three years to run on its lease, at £4.50/sq ft.

Rentokil was represented by Birtwistle Property Consultants and Colliers International while CBRE advised IAC.

Brian Birtwistle of Birtwistle Property Consultants said: “This is another example of the Jaguar Land Rover success story and the economic benefits it has brought to the wider sub region of south Liverpool and Widnes.”
