Lettings latest: Urban Splash, The Chancery; Manor Park

AM Technology, which specialises in technology for the chemicals industry, has taken 11,026 sq ft at Berkeley Court in Runcorn’s Manor Park estate.

It has agreed a 10-year lease with landlords Alpha Real Capital and Berkshire Asset Management.

The deal follows a 12,000 sq ft letting to Playnation earlier this year, also on a 10-year lease. The latest deal was handled by GVA.

ATRADIUS Credit Insurance has moved its Manchester office from Salford Quays to The Chancery, 58 Spring Gardens in Manchester.

The firm has taken 2,159 sq ft on the sixth floor of the building on a 10-year lease.

Atradius’ regional manager Mike Rowan, said: “We are delighted to be moving into the city centre as it means we can be closer to our customers and brokers, right in the heart of Manchester.

“The launch of our new office, which employs six people, means we can continue our tradition for progress and innovation by expanding our resources and capabilities. This will ensure that we can service the needs of all our brokers, customers and prospects in the north of England and Scotland.”

The Atradius Group has 3,300 staff at 160 offices in 45 countries. It provides trade credit insurance, surety and collections services.

URBAN Splash has agreed lettings at the Matchworks, Tea Factory and the Vanilla Factory in Liverpool and as well as a letting at Ducie House, Manchester.

National audio visual hire business, Stagetex has taken a 157 sq ft office at Mersey House within the Matchworks, while existing tenant, the personal injury solicitors Handley Law, has extended its lease. Amanda Wright Recruitment’s has also taken more space, increasing from 351 to 885 sq ft.

Meanwhile, Urban Splash’s Slater Street Studios in the city centre has signed up The Tea Box Company, Hannah Lloyd and Derwent Facilities Management.

Social media company Apex Hub has taken 1,009 sq ft at the Tea Factory in Wood Street and car service comparison website – Dipstix has taken 474 sq ft at The Vanilla Factory in Fleet Street. In Manchester, health and wellbeing business Revitalised has completed on a unit at Ducie House in Manchester.
