Stephensons recovers £9m in medical negligence claims

LAW firm Stephensons Solicitors said it helped secure £9.2m in medical negligence claims this year.

A large proportion of the total relates to several multi-million pound settlements for brain injury cases.

The settlements help to cover the cost of care, accommodation and equipment as well as compensation for the actual injury.

Other claims include cosmetic surgery errors, delays or missed diagnoses, operative errors and dental surgery claims.
