Itac expands with Delvemade deal

GREATER Manchester adhesive manufacturer Itac has acquired one of its trading partners.

It has bought Delvemade, which has a range of branded products for roof repairs and recoating, for an undisclosed sum.

The business which has annual sales of £2m, was owned by Tony and Sue Condron.

Following the transaction Delvemade will move from its base in Swinton to Itac’s Radcliffe headquarters which will employ a total of 36 staff.

Itac managing director, and majority shareholder, Paul Armitt said: “We have had our sights set on Delvemade for quite some time. It’s a well-established growing business, with an excellent reputation and track record. It services a niche sector of the construction industry, which is one of Itac’s core markets and over the years we have worked closely together to develop a unique system and accompanying product range.

“Itac’s purchase is good news for Delvemade specifiers and users alike because it guarantees continuity of supply of the same high quality products. We are a customer focused manufacturer, with the ability and determination to develop all aspects of Delvemade still further.”

Itac has annual revenues of around £5m.
