Wellington House fully let after new lease deals

WELLINGTON House in Manchester’s Piccadilly is fully let after two new deals.

Youth charity Rathbone Training is moving from Churchgate House, Oxford Street, after taking nearly 8,000 sq ft on the third and fourth floors on a 10-year lease, and software firm Datasys has taken the 3,427 sq ft fifth floor on a five-year lease.

The six-storey, 20,000 sq ft building is owned by Manchester-based MCR Property Group. OBI and Canning O’Neill are the joint letting agents.

OBI surveyor Emma Powell said: “The two deals mean Wellington House is now fully let, and it is a good sign that the market in Manchester is getting more buoyant.  Wellington House is in a great location, close to all major public transport links at Piccadilly and has proved a popular choice.”

Both OBI Property and the joint letting agent Canning O’Neill worked together to secure the two deals. The remainder of Wellington House is occupied by Nationwide, Lloyd Piggott Chartered Accountants and Towry Law.
