Property briefs: Capital Properties; Sutton Kersh; Davis Blank Furniss

PROPERTY management company, Capital Properties, has been appointed to advise landlord HIMOR on the rejuvenation of Bramhall Village Square, Stockport.

It will work with tenants to co-ordinate the marketing and events. HIMOR is expected to finish a refurb of the shopping centre in the spring.

Craig Sackfield, client director at Capital Properties, said: “We are very pleased to have been appointed by HIMOR to a site with such great potential. Our first priority is to develop and maintain relationships with the local community, including schools, sports clubs and social clubs, while minimising disruption to local businesses as our work develops.”

Paul Wrigglesworth, associate director at HIMOR, said: “We’re confident that this investment and the activities of Capital Properties will attract new businesses and jobs to Bramhall, bringing vibrancy back to the centre of the village for the whole community to enjoy.”

A Lodge house, development land and a number of investment opportunities are among the 126 lots up for grabs at the next Sutton Kersh auction in Liverpool on April 9.

The vacant detached two-storey lodge within Clarke Gardens in Woolton, is being offered on behalf of Liverpool City Council at a guide price of £150,000.

Auction manager Cathy Holt said: “This is a unique property in a sought after part of South Liverpool. The fact that it is in need of modernisation is reflected in the guide price, however on completion it will make a highly desirable house.”

Elsewhere, the site of the former Litherland Methodist Church is being offered with an opportunity for residential development.
