Legal briefs: TLT steps out with Boohoo; Garricks

NEWLY-floated online fashion retailer Boohoo.com has appointed national law firm TLT to its legal panel.
Led by partner Emma Flower, the TLT team will support the Manchester-based retailer on a broad range of legal issues including contentious IP work, commercial advice, disputes, and property issues.

LAW firm Garricks has won three new clients.
The firm, which has offices in Blackburn and Wigan, has been appointed by Wigan-based data-management company Cloud Perspective, Warrington-based web and app developers The EMS Group, and Standish business advisory firm EPC Corporate.
Garricks is advising each business on a range of commercial legal matters.
Corporate partner Andy Herricks said: “We are seeing more companies, particularly owner-managed businesses and other SMEs, needing advice on legal matters relating to their expansion plans, such as intellectual property, new business contracts, joint ventures, new premises, recruitment and employment issues.”
