Top prep school’s a good fit for Innova

AN interior design business specialising in the education sector has won a contract with a leading private school in London.
Stockport-based Innova Design Solutions is to install extensive new classroom facilities at Dulwich Prep, including science labs, a large food technology classroom and an IT suite.
Innova was selected after a competitive process and will be working with building contractors Quinn London and architects Lee Evans Partnership to complete the project.
The project, on a new build development, will unite two existing parts of the school, and includes three dedicated science labs designed using Innova’s unique flexible learning concept called Hot Corners.
Innova director Melanie Laing said: “The school is very forward thinking and they were keen to ensure their technology areas were central to the new development.
“Our installations for the school will echo this philosophy by using the very latest in education design and materials to create flexible learning spaces which will complement the look of the new building. We’re looking forward to being able to provide first-class facilities which will benefit both teachers and students.”
Innova, based at Heaton Chapel, will begin work on the installations at Dulwich Prep in June, with a projected completion date of the end of August.
