Reward Capital in Manchester launch

ASSET-backed lender Reward Capital is to launch an office in Manchester, which will be led by Neil McGivern.
 
Mr McGivern was previously previously divisional director at Davenham Trade Finance and was also MD at Bibby Factors in the North West and North East.

Reward was launched in Yorkshire in 2011, and the firm is confident of success in the North West. The venture is backed by South African businessman Christo Wiese, and  has 18m of funds available to lend.

Mr McGivern said: “Reward Capital has built an excellent reputation in a short period of time and has a unique position in the market given its ability to fill the funding gap left by mainstream banks.

“Reward Capital’s funding, which is available within very short timescales, is already helping many businesses in Yorkshire and beyond maximise opportunities that they may otherwise miss out on.”

An office location has yet to be identified and Mr McGivern is looking to recruit for his regional team.
