Administrators appointed to CD and games reseller

A CHESHIRE reseller of unwanted games, films and CDs, which trades as Zumu, has gone into administration.
According to a London Gazette filing, Jason Elliott and Craig Johns of the accountancy firm Cowgill Holloway were appointed administrators of Pack Media April 15.
The business was launched in the UK a year ago by Neil Ouzman who said at the time he was investing in a 55,000 sq ft processing facility in Leyland and a head office in Congleton. The business, which had already launched in the US, was to create 30 jobs.
It took its cue from Music Magpie, based in nearby Macclesfield, by encouraging people to send in unwanted CDs and DVDs in return for cash. Zumu would then sell them on and promised to recycle items no one wanted.
No one at Cowgill Holloway could be reached for comment. The Zumu website is currently down.
