Chess buys again to boost cloud services

ACQUISITIVE telecoms firm Chess has bought a Bedfordshire IT business to boost its cloud computing services.

The privately-owned Alderley Edge based group, which has made more than 70 acquisitions as in the last 20 years, has acquired Integra ICT which has annual sales of around £5m.

The business, sold by Pasquale Ruggiero, has 37 staff. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Chess’ chief executive David Pollock said: “Integra ICT has successfully deployed integrated communication solutions for over 20 years with an outstanding reputation.

“We’re delighted to welcome their vastly experienced team into the Chess group. We will rely on their knowledge and experience to guide our growth in cloud and ICT.
