Property briefs: Mulbury homes; Livingcity

BUILDING work has started on a £4m development of 46 homes in Barnoldswick, Lancashire.

The two and three-bedroom terraced homes will occupy a 2.3-acre area of vacant scrubland off Valley Road.

Mulbury Homes is developing site on behalf of Housing Pendle, a member of the Together Housing Group.

Director Greg Mulligan said: “This is the latest in a number of schemes we have developed on behalf of Housing Pendle, helping to increase the supply of affordable housing and regenerating communities across the region.

“We are pleased to get building work started following detailed consultations with the local community. We’re confident that all residents in the area will benefit greatly from the development which has been designed to complement existing homes in the area.”

BUILDING manager Livingcity has secured ARMA-Q accreditation which is awarded to companies for meeting industry standards and certain levels of customer care.

ARMA-Q is the new self-regulatory regime for members of the Association of Residential Managing Agents.

Director Paul Atkins said: “Receiving confirmation that we are one of the first companies to achieve ARMA-Q is fantastic news, and is testament to the efforts, determination and professionalism of our entire team. We are all now looking forward to January but, in the meantime, we will be maintaining the high standards that have been recognised by ARMA’s Council.”
