Finalists unveiled for Salford Business Awards

SALFORD firms will battle it out next week at the city’s annual business awards.
The event is being held at the Salford City Stadium on June 5.
Winners last year included Kingland Wines, High Voltage Partial Discharge, Yippee Entertainment, JMC IT and Aequita Legal.
JMC IT is contesting several categories again this time around, along with software outsourcing specialist Bright Future, pipeline specialist Lanes Group, and Carbon Digital, which specialises in CGI, visual effects and animation.
The awards, organised by the University of Salford, The Business Group Salford and Salford City Council, are now in their seventh year. Mike Bushell, BBC Breakfast sports presenter, will deliver an after-dinner speech. Tickets are available online at www.salfordbusinessawards.co.uk.
