FROST Planning has secured planning consent for its client Brunning & Price to redevelop a village social club in Bostock Green, near Winsford, Cheshire, into a pub and restaurant.

The new pub will be called The Hayhurst Arms, named after the original owners of the nearby Bostock estate who created the village of Bostock Green in the 18th century.

Some 45 jobs are being created at the site which is owned by Tatton Estate Management.

Graham Price of Brunning & Price said:  “We are delighted to have secured the planning consent, which will allow us to reinvigorate this lovely old building and put a pub back at the heart of the village. The Hayhurst Arms is an exciting project and the team at Brunning & Price are looking forward to getting started and will be gunning hard to get it open before Christmas.”

Andy Frost of Prestbury-based Frost Planning, said: “The challenges on this project were typical of any historic property. Our team of architects, heritage, highway and ecology consultants pulled together to help Brunning & Price secure this consent.”
