CHESHIRE East Council is inviting female entrepreneurs to celebrate North West Women’s Enterprise Day at a major networking event.

Tickets are now available for the event which takes place at Cranage Hall in Holmes Chapel on November 19, and is expected to attract more than 250 women from across the region.

Delegates will be invited to attend two in-depth workshops from a choice of seven on topics including social media, handling conflict and networking skills.

Councillor Jamie Macrae, cabinet member with responsibility for prosperity, said: “As a local authority we are fully committed to doing all we can to support both new and established businesses – a role which has taken on even greater importance in the current economic climate.

“This networking event aims to inspire, educate and motivate female entrepreneurs – whether they are starting out or expanding their business – with a particular focus on overcoming barriers which women can encounter.”
