GMPVF wins permission for Warrington scheme

GREATER Manchester Pension Fund’s property investment arm has secured planning consent for 200,000 sq ft of employment space and a car showroom in Warrington.

Outline consent has been granted for a plot at the five-hectare Calver Park off Winwick Road.

Commercial agent GVA acted on behalf of the Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund.

Planning associate James Sheppard said: “The site provides an excellent opportunity to allow for significant job creation in this sustainable location, delivering quality employment space to meet the requirements of a range of businesses.”

The planning application was also supported by Fletcher Rae Architects and engineering consultancy Wardell Armstrong.
