Equilibrium on track for record year

AN independent wealth management firm is set to report a record year.

Wilmslow-based Equilibrium which  manages £370m worth of assets for nearly 600 clients in the region, says the year to the end of August will be its best-ever, with turnover expected to reach £4m. It attributes its success to a 99% client retention, built on a relationship of trust.

Founder and managing partner Colin Lawson said: “We’re confident we’ll exceed our financial targets for the year, but that doesn’t mean we’re resting on our laurels. We’re constantly looking for ways to build on our offering, which is why we’ve launched the intuitive new website that places the end-user at its core, providing easy access to our expertise and resources.”

“We’re known for providing a more holistic financial planning service, handling every element of clients’ portfolios – from investments to offering advice on succession planning and estate planning. This strong relationship and trust is at our core, and it’s why we have such strong retention rates from both clients and employees.”

Total asset growth for the current financial year have exceeded £70m. This continues a successful three years for Equilibrium, which has doubled its turnover during this period.
