Ross Legal merges with HCB Solicitors

ROSS Legal, a niche Salford-based law firm specialising in working with the dental sector, has merged with larger West Midlands firm HCB Solicitors Group.
No financial details of the combination with Solihull headquartered HCB were disclosed.
HCB already has a team of four dealing with dentist issues among its nationwide 18-office practice.
Edwin Ross, principal of Salford-based Ross Legal, is one of the first 10 members of the Association of Specialist Providers to Dentists (ASPD), a member of the National Association of Dental Accountants and Lawyers (NASDAL) and is on the list of solicitors recommended to dentists by the British Dental Association.
He sits on all the major dentist panels and brings more than 15 years’ experience in dealings with the dental profession to the HCB Group. The firm has commercial clients including dentists throughout the country.
Edwin Ross said: “We both put the client first and foremost and are available when we are needed, and that is something that is instilled into the partners and staff at HCB.
“I am excited at the prospect of joining an expanding and ambitious group to enhance the service given to my past, present and future clients.”
Mike Gahan, chief executive at HCB, said: “The merger with Ross Legal will be a major boost to our dental legal team. Edwin Ross’s experience will put us among the top dental legal firms in the country and strengthen what is already a very successful arm of HCB.”
Last year HCB was one of the suitors for Manchester firm Linder Myers, which ultimately completed a successful solvent restructuring.
