Appointments: Muse Developments; Zeus; JLL

MUSE Developments has added two to its team – a project manager in the North West and project director in the South.

The urban regeneration specialist, which has its Northern base in Salford, said it had expanded its project management team to help deliver its portfolio of projects.

Phil Marsden joins the Manchester team from DBK Partners, where he project managed major developments across the North West. He has more than 14 years’ experience in the construction industry, including experience as a quantity surveyor for Gleeds. He will be working on delivering a number of projects across the region, including New Bailey in Salford.

Andrew Boyle joins the London office from Spenhill, the separate development arm of Tesco Group. One of the projects he will be focusing on for Muse is a £140m regeneration scheme in Brixton.

ZEUS Capital has made two senior hires, Adam Pollock and Michael Allen.

Pollock has joined as head of corporate broking from Panmure Gordon, where he has held the same role for the last seven years.

Michael Allen has been taken on as a research director. He previously worked as an executive director at Panmure Gordon and was one of the founding members of the firm’s Liverpool office.

Zeus has acted as nominated adviser and sole broker on a number of high profile deals including the £300m IPO of online fashion retailer Boohoo.com, the £200m IPO of DX Group and the IPO and the £94m fundraise for Epwin.

THE Manchester office of JLL has recruited two new consultants.

Martin McGowan has joined the building consultancy team as a surveyor. He has five years’ experience and was previously at Dunlop Heywood where he acted as a project manager for clients including Speedy Hire.

In addition, the valuation advisory team has appointed graduate Robert Kos to support the JLL’s valuation work for investors, developers and banks across the North West. He graduated from Sheffield Hallam in 2013 and has spent the past year in an asset management role at Smith Young, where his clients included British Land.
