MEDICAL centre developer Assura Group has acquired an extra site and completed three others.

The three developments are in: Lanchester, County Durham; Market Weighton, Yorkshire; and Blaenavon, Gwent.

They have a combined value of £11m with a weighted average un-expired lease term of 24-and-a-half years with rents contracted under the leases of £660,000.

In addition, Assura has spent £1.75m on a fully let, purpose built medical centre in Wellington, Somerset on a 30-year lease.

Following these deals Warrington-based Assura now has 236 medical centres with a contracted rent roll of £49.5m.

Meanwhile, Target Healthcare has acquired an Orchard Care Homes site in Fleetwood from Clerical Medical as part of a larger £13.3m deal involving two other homes in Yorkshire. Orchard will continue to run all three on a long lease.
