Asda ground rent for sale in Bolton

A FIVE-acre site in Bolton, which includes an Asda supermarket and related facilities, has been brought to market with a guide price of £6.25m.

The plot attracts a £280,775 annual ground rent from Asda which is committed to 2078.

The rent is subject to upward-only reviews every five years.

GVA, which is selling the site on behalf of an unnamed vendor, said a deal at the guide price would represent a yield of 4.25%, but it expects higher offers when it comes to auction next month.

The site is in Farnworth, three miles from Bolton town centre, and offers additional development opportunities.
