HALE PR, marketing and events company, Marketing Profile has been appointed to promote former Apprentice finalist Neil Clough as an event speaker.

Clough, who is based in south Manchester and who is writing a weekly Apprentice review for the TheBusinessDesk.com, has developed a successful portfolio career over the last 12 months.

He has launched his own sales consultancy business in Manchester and also become a popular inspirational and motivational speaker.

LANCASHIRE-based integrated agency, ICG, is celebrating two decades in business on a high.
 
Celebrations are abounding as it has been a particularly strong 12 months, with a raft of new additions to the client roster, two prestigious award wins and three new members of staff, bringing the agency’s headcount to 16.

The IF agency has completed a promotion called Fayre Fight for pub chain Fayre & Square.

The Manchester-based agency was briefed to promote Fayre & Square’s pub dishes.

It devised a social media campaign and customers were asked to vote for their favourite dishes in a knock-out competiton. Roast beef came out on top after competing against cod and chips in the final.

Jane Moore, group account director at The IF agency, said: “The aim of this promotion was to get people interacting and I’m pleased to say that the response was fantastic and it certainly created the buzz we wanted.”

The agency said the campaign reached more than 107,000 Fayre & Square customers.

MANCHESTER  PR consultancy Clare PR, has added Northern Ireland based cable management company, Unitrunk to its client list.

The win builds on Clare PR’s 25-year track record in the built environment sector and the agency’s extensive experience of the electrical industry.

After attending two award ceremonies – The Social Buzz Awards and the Manufacturing Awards – Tangerine’s B2B team and its clients walked away with seven national accolades.

Firstly, the team picked up ‘Best B2B Sector Social Media Strategy/Campaign’ for its longstanding client, British Gypsum at the Social Buzz Awards which celebrate brands at the forefront of digital communications.
