Park pockets £1.8m through site sale
Park, the Birkenhead-based prepaid gift card and voucher provider, has sold its Dock Road North site to a major housebuilder for just over £1.8m.
The money will be paid to Park as the houses to be built on the site are sold with the total consideration to be paid by 5 September 2014. Park can charge monthly interest on outstanding money owed at 5.5% about the base lending rate set by Royal Bank of Scotland.
The firm’s last set of accounts for the year to March 31 said that a conditional sale of the site had already been agreed which placed a value on the land at £725,000.
