Briefs: Imerja’s Essex success & more

BOLTON-based IT specialist Imerja has once again been selected by Essex County Council to secure and maintain its end-user devices in a contract worth £160,000.

The deal will see Imerja conducting a health check of the IT systems and upgrading the endpoint security on 9,000 devices to the latest version of CheckPoint software.

The two-year deal builds on an existing relationship between the two organisations and is a renewal of Imerja’s previous contract to offer an ongoing proactive and reactive support service.

Managing director and founder of Imerja Ian Jackson said: “Working in partnership we have developed a strong relationship with Essex County Council and really understand the complexities of its IT system and the importance of securing the end-user devices.”

A COMPANY has been launched in Salford Quays to help legal firms deal with phone calls.

alldayPA Legal says it provides customer service 24/7, preventing missed calls and provides an overflow service at peak time.

The launch was prompted, alldayPA says, because the UK legal sector has spent years ‘paying’ for unanswered and badly handles phone calls with lost revenues and dissatisfied clients.

Its new services is described as bespoke and is now claiming to be the UK’s most trust provider of call answering services.

“alldayPA Legal offers law firms more than a generic business call answering service,” said alldayPA Legal spokesman Ken Crabtree.

“It is the only service on the market with legally trained call handlers who can add real value to any law firm’s marketing or business development activities.”
