Appointments: Bodek joins Aquarium & more

AWARD-winning businessman Bryan Bodek has joined a fast-growing Anglo-US insurance technology company Aquarium Software as strategic development director.
Bodek, a former regional winner in EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards, has had a distinguished career first as a corporate lawyer with Kuits and then with Manchester-based Airline Services, where he was chief executive. He is also a former vice-chairman of Manchester City FC.
Aquarium, which has offices in Hale, south Manchester and in Oxford, counts Capita among its customers.
Commenting on his new role, Bodek said: “I am delighted to be joining Aquarium Software at what is a turning point in its development from UK rising star to a serious player at the global insurance table. My main role will be to realign medium to long term strategy to deliver best value for all stakeholders, and I am very much looking forward to taking up the challenge.”

LANCASHIRE-based Vincents Solicitors has bolstered its commercial law team with the appointment of solicitor, Neil Jones.
Jones, a deputy district judge for 14 years, has 30 years’ experience in commercial litigation and will work in Preston.
Mark Alexander, head of Vincent’s commercial law team said: “Our commercial practice is expanding rapidly and we’re now dealing with a growing number of civil litigation claims. Neil is highly experienced in this area of law, having dealt with a broad range of complex and high-profile cases so will be a huge asset to our team.”
