Lettings latest: Neil Morland Housing Consultancy; Travis Perkins & more

A HOUSING consultancy specialising in advice on homelessness has taken a 200sq ft office suite in the town centre of Altrincham, Cheshire.

Neil Morland Housing Consultancy has taken the property at 34 Victoria Street, agreeing an all-inclusive rent for one year.

Regional Property Solutions acted for the landlord The Alan Stevenson Partnership. The tenant was unrepresented.

CBRE’s Manchester Industrial Agency team has let a warehouse unit totalling 26,116sq ft on a 10-year term to Travis Perkins subsidiary CCF in east Manchester.

The property at Margaret Street in Ashton-under-Lyne, comprises a self-contained warehouse unit with extensive yard and car parking.

Travis Perkins is one of the largest suppliers to the UK’s building and construction industry with a national network of more than 600 branches. The company provides more than 100,000 products to trade professionals. CCF specialise in interior building products such as insulation, drywall, ceilings, partitioning, flooring and fire protection.

Steve Capper, associate director at CBRE’s Manchester office, said: “The unit offers high quality accommodation in an established and easily accessible industrial location. This latest deal demonstrates the continued rise in demand for high quality industrial accommodation within Greater Manchester.”

CBRE and Nolan Redshaw represented the landlord whilst Travis Perkins were represented by Colin Chivers of occupier specialist CP Property Consultants.

REAL estate advisor Savills has let office space at The Observatory in Manchester city centre to Deerns UK.
 
The consulting engineering firm has agreed a new five-year lease for 2,674 sq ft  of Grade A business accommodation on the second floor and will pay a rent of £19.50 per sq ft.

Savills was acting on behalf of Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS).

The building is located on Cross Street, at the heart of Manchester’s Central Business District.
