Fudge to become lap dancing club

A FORMER nightclub in Liverpool is set to become a lap dancing club.

The building once occupied by Fudge on Wood Street has been taken over by lap dancing club operator X in the City in a deal brokered by real estate adviser Colliers International.

The 5,000sq ft location was being marketed at rental offers in excess of £80,000 on behalf of a private landlord.

X in the City is relocating from existing premises in Lime Street, Liverpool, because that site is subject to a compulsory purchase order as part of a £35m regeneration scheme.

Colin Siebert, director, licensed and leisure for the Liverpool office of Colliers, secured the letting. He said:  “The former nightclub premises are ideal for X in the City and I understand that they plan to open very soon.”

Colliers International recently opened its Liverpool office in the Grade II listed India Buildings on Water Street in the city’s central business district to better serve its clients in the Liverpool City Region.
