Gerrard’s new restaurant and cocktail bar opening soon

A NEW cafe and cocktail bar co-owned by former Liverpool footballer Steven Gerrard is to open its doors in the city on June 22.
The Vincent Cafe and Cocktail Bar is also owned by Gerrard’s friend Paul Adams.
The duo recently sold their restaurant The Warehouse in Southport, opposite Adams’s hotel The Vincent, while preparing the new outlet at Exchange Flags in Liverpool.
It will be 190 cover 6,000sq ft restaurant serving a mixture of British and international dishes, including Gringo Sushi – a meat alternative to fish – a concept Adams introduced to the UK.
Adams said: “The Vincent Café and Cocktail Bar is something new – it is in a fantastic location – and I am hoping it will be a great success.
“The concept of offering everything from breakfast, through to brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, evening dinner and cocktails, provides people with choice which is what is so important in modern society. I feel it is something which is well suited to Liverpool.
“People will know when they visit us they will have delicious fresh food and in great surroundings too.
“We want to welcome everyone from ages 16 to 80 – whether it’s after-work cocktails, an early breakfast or an express lunch, Vincent Café has something for everyone.”
It will open every day from 8am, serving food and drinks throughout the day.
A private meeting area, which can accommodate up to 16 people is also available for hire.
