Jackson Canter targets further growth

EXPANSION  to Manchester and a new Liverpool base, along with investments in staff and practice areas, have helped Jackson Canter to post a 15% hike in fee income to £9.1m  this year.

The boost to the firm’s turnover was matched by an increase in underlying profit by 20%, although this figure was not disclosed.

Andrew Holroyd, chief executive at Jackson Canter, commented: “Our team turned in another strong performance this year, by delivering quality results for our growing client base. We have attracted new instructions and strengthened existing relationships in both our commercial and private operations, and our investments in people and offices will drive further growth in the coming years.

“We are actively looking at opportunities to expand the teams in both Manchester and Liverpool through natural growth as well as acquisitions and other opportunities.”

In its home city of Liverpool, the firm moved into  a second location, the Walker Building at Exchange Flags, while in Manchester it opened at 111 Piccadilly.

The Exchange Flags office is an addition to the firm’s base on Dale Street.

Holroyd: added “Basing our teams near their clients – the commercial specialists in Liverpool city centre and the family and immigration law experts in Manchester – underlines our commitment to be an active partner in all our clients’ requirements.”
