Rapid rise in Q1 revenue for IT firm

IT services company adept4 is celebrating soaring first-quarter revenue with contract orders jumping from £220,000 to £300,000 per month – a rise of 40% per month from December 2014.

The Daresbury Business Park, Cheshire-headquartered firm has also been ranked as one of the most profitable IT services companies (pre-tax) in the UK in the latest Plimsoll Report which profiles the financial performance of IT infrastructure and managed services companies across the UK.

Adept4’s strong performance follows excellent results in the fourth quarter of 2014, during which the firm saw its contract base grow by 27%.

The company says the strong growth figures come on the back of a series of new contracts with customers including a seven-figure deal with North-West based healthcare provider Baywater Healthcare, and major contracts with Merseylink, and Bibby Shipping. The company has also seen existing contracts extended and expanded.

Chief executive Peter Birkett said: “We’ve enjoyed a very strong performance in the last 12 months and are looking forward to continuing to grow and develop our contract base.

“The Plimsoll Report findings show that adept4 is performing very well against its counterparts in the industry and we’re delighted to see the business ranking so highly, particularly in the profitability categories.
