DELIVERY company DX Network Services has taken the largest space yet at Merchants Place in Liverpool city centre after signing a five-year lease.

The company has taken Suites 1 and 3 – a total of 5,377sq ft – and follows complete refurbishment of the accommodation twoyears.

Merchants place offers 27,000sq ft of offices and the latest letting will see occupancy climb above 50%.

Merchants Place is situated within the historic Century Building at Brunswick Business Park.

Acting on behalf of North West Industrial Estates Ltd, the letting was secured by Mason Partners and CBRE’s Liverpool office agency team.

A 23,000sq ft industrial unit at Huyton Business Park has been sold to Dunster House, a manufacturer of garden buildings and humanitarian sanitation products for disaster areas.

The sale was brokered by the Liverpool office of Lambert Smith Hampton.

The site, which benefits from its close proximity to the M57/M62 interchange on the outskirts of Liverpool, comprises a detached warehouse with ancillary offices and staff accommodation.

The Huyton acquisition represents the sixth UK branch Dunster House has opened to service the UK.

Dunster managing director Chirs Murphy said: “We have been looking for an appropriate location to establish our brand in the North West for quite some time.  The property on Huyton Business Park offers us a prominent and easily accessible location and we are delighted to secure this purchase for our continued expansion.”
