£1.6m fit-out deal at prestige Manchester offices
INTEGRATED property services and project delivery specialist Styles & Wood has been awarded a £1.6m fit-out contract at Manchester’s landmark office development One St Peter’s Square.
The firm’s projects division has been appointed to complete the landlord’s Category A works covering the eighth and ninth floor of the scheme, which will be occupied by DLA Piper.
The four-month contract will see the firm provide for an open-plan office area, create an opening for a staircase to connect DLA Piper’s two floors as well as complete mechanical and electrical installations across 45,000 sq ft of the 13-storey building.
The appointment is the latest in a string of commercial project wins the Altrincham-headquartered firm has secured this year, including the full strip-out and refurbishment of the 50,000sq ft, eight-storey Citygate Court.

Styles & Wood Group posted a 3.2% year-on-year increase in turnover to £96.9m in its latest annual results in June, highlighting fit-out contracts for commercial developments as a growing source of work for the firm.
