Appointments: Napthens; Linder Myers; JAM & more

THE debt recovery team at Lancashire law firm Napthens has expanded with the appointment of Lucy Bailey in its Preston office.

Bailey joins the team as a debt recovery executive after graduating from the University of Law in Manchester, achieving a distinction in the legal practice course. She previously completed her law degree at Leeds University.

At Napthens, she will advise clients on a range of matters relating to debt recovery, using her specialist knowledge to deal with topics including the management of outstanding invoices.

LINDER Myers Solicitors has strengthened its commercial property team with the appointment of Anne Dobie as a partner in its Manchester office.
 
Dobie has arrived from Davitt Jones Bould, real estate law specialists, where she was associate director. Prior to that, she was Head of Weightmans’ commercial property team in Manchester and national head of healthcare.

She brings a wealth of experience to the Linder Myers commercial property team. She is a specialist in site acquisition, development projects, joint ventures, forward funding, regeneration and remediation of brown field sites; acting on behalf of developers, public bodies (health and local authority) and institutional investors.
 
Dobie has been involved in numerous town centre developments and also undertakes commercial landlord and tenant work and supports commercial clients in corporate transactions involving sales and leasebacks and the acquisition and disposal of companies and businesses.
 
She said: “Linder Myers is well known for its excellent commercial property offering and I’m looking forward to supporting what is already a strong and established team.”

MANCHESTER-based JAM has made three new additions to the team across both its PR and creative divisions, following a strong year for the integrated agency.

 
Lauren Digby joins JAMcreative as middleweight designer from DeVere Hotels where she worked within the marketing team as brand designer for three years.
 
Alex Cupial-Jones joins JAMcreative as Junior Designer following a six-month work experience placement.
 
Rebecca Ore joins JAM’s PR team as account researcher, after impressing the team during work experience earlier in the year.

THE rapid growth of Paragon’s recently established Manchester office has continued following two new appointments.

Neil Grundy and Simon Long have both joined as associate irectors.
 
Lond previously worked at Colliers with James Onions – head of Paragon’s Manchester office – and co-director Rob Simpson who also joined when the new office was established in May of this year. 

Grundy joins from DTZ having previously worked at Colliers, McGrath Associates and EC Harris. The appointments follow the recent recruitment of Peter Mcllhagger as director of drojects in July.

DEREK Tierney and Lauren Pritchard have joined Liquid as part of the company’s expanding digital marketing and PR departments.

Tierney and Pritchard will deliver tactical direction and support to a number of the Liverpool agency’s biggest clients, as well as driving new business and contributing to the agency’s approach to creative design and intelligent strategies.

Liquid executive creative director Steve McGauley said: “Derek and Lauren are further strengthening our agency’s strong brand experience.

Clare Barry and Alexendra Walsh have also recently joined the creative agency. Barry has become a full time member of the PR department after freelancing with the company for six months, while Walsh has joined as a level 4 digital apprentice.

The new recruits join as the company looks to celebrate its 15th year.
