New era for comms agency Judge & Howard

COMMUNICATIONS agency Judge & Howard is entering a new era with a new name, new hires and a record year in sight.

The Manchester-based business has rebranded as Intelligent Conversation a year after managing director Libby Howard bought out co-founder Suzanne Judge.
 
Howard said: “We have grown year on year since the business started in 2009 and we have ambitious plans for the future. We broke the £1m income barrier last year and are on target for another record year. The rebrand mirrors our expanded communications skills and the changing needs of clients.”
 
As well as PR and social media Intelligent Conversation offers content marketing services across three areas of sector expertise: health and social care, business and industry and public information.

The agency has won a number of clients, including:  Home Instead, the UK’s leading provider of high quality home care; architectural façade manufacturer Aliva UK; caring technology provider Assistage and Lancashire accountants Pierce.
 
Its team has also hit double figures for the first time, with the addition of senior consultant Kam Arkinstall and content executive Sarah Chambers.
 
In a series of internal moves to strengthen its the management team, senior consultants Kate Jones and Simon Donohue become head of health and social care and head of content respectively. Senior consultant Fritzi Wemheuer had become athird director, alongside Claire Evans and Diana MacCarthy.

The rebranding work was undertaken by integrated creative agency Loaf.
