Builder secures £1m plus deal to build Lancashire homes

TYSON Construction has secured a £1.083m funding deal to support its development of new homes on Strike Lane, Freckleton near Preston.

The Blackpool-based building contractor and residential house builder is developing seven new four bedroom executive homes on the edge of the attractive village of Freckleton in rural Fylde.

Building works began in May 2015 and are expected to be complete by April 2016.

The deal is with NatWest with whom Tyson Construction has been a customer for 49 years.

Tyson finance director Jeremy Whittle said: “The new housing development in Freckleton provides highly sought after housing.

“We have been working with NatWest’s Real Estate Finance team for nearly five decades and have been impressed by the specialist support provided by our bank managers.

“They understand the unique needs of property businesses like ours and offer financing to allow us to meet our business aspirations.”

NatWest relationship director Paul Mercer, said: “I was delighted to support Tyson Construction on this new housing development.

“The firm has been delivering high quality housing schemes for nearly five decades and I wish the business every success for the future.”
