Jessops set to open at St George’s

THE camera chain Jessops into which Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Peter Jones ploughed several millions of pounds is to open a new outlet in Preston.

It will officially open its doors on November 13 82 Friargate Walk on the lower floor of St George’s Shopping Centre.

Included in its renowned services will be try-before-you buy product displays, one-to-one photography tuition in-store, and an on-site lab for photo products made in store within the hour.

Andrew Stringer, general manager at St George’s Shopping Centre, said: “Welcoming another popular national brand in to the shopping centre before Christmas not only strengthens our offer to shoppers, but also further demonstrates our ability to attract big name brands to boost the shopping experience at both St George’s and the city as a whole.”

“The store is looking incredibly smart, and we can’t wait for customers to start arriving so that we can showcase our latest products and services.
