Hotel Chocolat and City Cobbler sign up for Royal Exchange

TRINISTAR Manchester has announced it has signed up Hotel Chocolat and City Cobbler at Manchester Royal Exchange, currently undergoing a multi-million pound regeneration programme.
Leading chocolatier, Hotel Chocolat has taken 800sq ft facing on to Market Street on a 10-year lease, whilst City Cobbler has signed up to units 11-13 in the Arcade.
These latest tenants join existing retailers Accessorize, Molton Brown, Swarovski, Kipling and Size?, which is using its Royal Exchange store to trial its first women’s only concept.
Located in the heart of the city centre, The Royal Exchange comprises 120,000sq ft of office space and 100,000sq ft of retail accommodation, offering a variety of retail unit sizes with opportunities for occupiers between 1,000 sq. ft. up to 18,000sq ft.
Richard O’Boyle, Executive Director at Trinity IM, said: “Manchester Royal Exchange is a real hive of activity with the majority of the available retail units now occupied. The works in the northern offices are well on their way and will be finished in the second quarter of 2016.”
Stephen Tregenza, Director at Metis Real Estate AdvisErs, joint retail agents for the scheme with Lambert Smith Hampton, added: “Hotel Chocolat’s decision to commit an additional store in Manchester underlines the quality of the offer at The Royal Exchange and the scale of the city’s growth.
“We are in discussion with a number of national and independent retailers at the Royal Exchange and hope to announce more exciting names soon.”
