Michelin-starred chef teams up with Neville and Giggs

THE chef who is The Man Behind The Curtain, Michael O’Hare, is to take his creative cooking style to Manchester after signing with former Manchester United footballers Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs.

Neville, who is now manager of Spanish club Valencia, and Manchester United assistant manager Giggs, own GG Hospitality, which includes Hotel Football and Café Football.

O’Hare will become creative director of GG Hospitality, overseeing the group’s culinary output.

It follows a memorable year for the chef, who secured his first Michelin star for his Leeds restaurant in 2015, weeks after emerging as one of the winners of the BBC chef programme The Great British Menu.

“I’ve dined at The Man Behind the Curtain and can honestly say that I’ve never experienced anything like it,” said Neville.

“Michael’s skills, attitude and attention to detail are exactly what we require across all our GG projects and we’ve no doubt that he is a perfect match for us.”
