Futureworks takes extra space in Dickinson House

FUTUREWORKS Media School has taken on an extra 3,500 sq ft of space at a building on Dickinson Street next to its 87-89 Mosley St headquarters in Manchester city centre to boost capacity.
The privately-owned college is spending £100,000 on increasing capacity for student numbers up from 250 to 400 and expanding its film and TV studios as well as its CGI suites. In total, it is increasing its footprint to 17,500 sq ft so that it can offer two and three-year vocational media courses on top of traditional degrees.
Managing director, Chris Mayo, said: “The shortfall in university places has meant that increasing numbers of students are realising the career opportunities that come with more vocational courses.
“This expansion is a big investment for us but one that will definitely see dividends.”Futureworks takes extra space in Dickinson House
