THE Grade II-listed Chapel in the Castlefield area of Manchester has been acquired by Shirestone Estates from Boultbee Brooks for £2.9m.
The building on Deansgate in a prominent position on the edge of Manchester’s canal network, the Chapel is an impressive self-contained period building, providing 12,132sq ft of newly refurbished Grade A office accommodation, arranged over four floors.
The property is single let to Pannone Corporate for a term of 10 years with a tenant break at year five.
Knight Frank acted for Shirestone Estates and OBI acted for Boultbee Brooks.
David Crawford from Knight Frank’s Capital Markets team said: ‘‘We are pleased to acquire this off-market investment for our client. The Chapel is a unique office building, let to a strong covenant in a popular Manchester city centre location.”
