Chairman to step down at Frenkel Topping
DAVID Southworth is to retire as the chairman of Frenkel Topping after almost 12 years in the role.
He will continue to act as chairman until a suitable replacement has been identified and appointed.
In a statement made ahead of the firm’s AGM today, Southworth said: “I would like to thank all shareholders for their continued support and look forward to updating the market with further developments in due course.”
The Manchester-headquartered business provides specialist independent financial advice to personal injury trusts and the families of people awarded money for clinical negligence and has around £674m assets under management.
It has additional offices in London, Birmingham, Leeds Cardiff and Bristol, with 20% of assets under management now coming from outside its Manchester base.
