Giants on course for Liverpool return

THE creative force behind the Giants has visited in Liverpool to scope out the potential return of the spectacular in 2018.  

Jean Luc Courcoult, artistic director of Royal De Luxe, is in the city to find inspiration for what is thought to be the final in the trilogy of the Giants events, focusing on 100 years since the end of World War One.

For the first time, Courcoult is looking to spread his giant wings and will not only be looking at potential Liverpool locations, but will also explore Wirral as a potential new backdrop for whichever characters travel over in 2018.

He has met Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson and leader of Wirral Council, Cllr Phil Davies who will give him a short tour of the areas and discuss any potential, early ideas.
