Stand up to cancer
Dust off your trainers and head to Tatton Park this weekend to raise money for cancer! Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life returns to Cheshire on Sunday morning and you can walk, jog or charge at the 10k race to raise plenty of money for over 200 types of cancer. Enjoy an evening of entertainment and views on Sunday evening for the first Evening River Cruise of the summer on the wonderful River Mersey. Take in the fantastic sights of Liverpool’s unique waterfront whilst listening to acoustic music and enjoy yourself with their licenced bar as you talk all things Liverpool with the locals. Armed Forces DayShow your support
Head to Blackpool on Saturday for National Armed Forces Day. The event will be held at St. John’s Square and Central Promenade and will celebrate the brave men and women of our armed forces past and present. There will be opportunities to learn about the armed forces and to talk to those who live it every day as well as live entertainment from military bands and wonderful dancers. The Summer Arts Market returns to Liverpool’s St George’s Hall this weekend and there will be a huge range of arts and crafts for you to marvel at.
