Time to grow, says watch repair firm

IN-TIME Watch & Jewellery Repairs has acquired new larger premises for its head office and workshop in Southport.

Established in 1981, In-Time employs 170 staff and operates 54 watch and jewellery repair outlets in department stores and shopping centres across the UK.

The new premises double the company’s capacity for watch repairs, with a new workshop, and include significant investment to support most prestige brands.

Finance director, Bob Allen says: “Our mission is to provide the highest possible quality of customer service and satisfaction from dedicated, highly skilled and experienced staff, who are always ready to go the extra mile to please their customers.”

The move has been funded with a £330,000 loan from Barclays.

Sharon Harrison, relationship director for Barclays, said: “An important local employer, the creation of the new workshop requires the appointment of six additional technicians which is fantastic news for the local economy.”
