Building company gets on £380m framework

NORTH-West building consultancy Anderton Gables has been selected as an approved consultant on the Innovation Chain North West (ICNW) in July 2016.

The ICNW is a framework established in 2012 that has seen throughput of more than £380m and the completion of over 4,000 units in Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and Yorkshire.

As a partnership of regional based housing associations, the ICNW Framework sets out to establish and maintain stable relationships between clients and service providers of projects.

Its goal is to ensure projects meet quality requirements, on target and within budget.

Clients of the framework include Great Places Housing Group; Plus Dane Housing Group Limited; Halton Housing Trust; Bolton At Home; Adactus Housing Association; Wulvern Housing; Cheshire Peaks & Plains Housing Trust; Your Housing Group; Equity Housing Association; Calico Homes, Mosscare and Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.

In addition, the framework is open to any provider of mixed-use housing and rental properties (and their subsidiaries) registered with the HCA in the north west region.

The purchasing consortium has appointed a select group of contractors and consultant companies for its framework.

Anderton Gables, based in Manchester and Preston, is one of the consulting companies which have been chosen to provide project management and building surveying services and serves as a recognition of the company’s track record in the housing sector.

Jonathan Shaw, partner said: “We are thrilled and very proud to have been selected as an approved consultant on the ICNW Chain.

“We look forward to working with housing associations across the region to achieve the objectives of the framework, building strong relationships and providing expertise and innovation as well as cost efficiencies to clients of the framework.”
