Duo take over networking franchise

KATH Parkes and Andy Gorman have taken over at the helm of business referral organisation BNI Manchester West, which covers the entire Manchester City Region.

The duo were formerly director consultants at BNI Merseyside.

BNI is a global networking business with more than £421m worth of business passed among its 12,000 UK members per year.

BNI Manchester West region has flourished in recent years and the private deal will see Parkes and Gorman take over the franchise as new executive directors.

A statement released on behalf of them jointly said:  “We believe members should be supported and have a community of champions behind them; fellow members and directors who really want their business to succeed.

“We also believe that BNI membership should be about more than the meetings and we will seek to deliver greater value.

“The goals for the region will be decided by the members and our role as directors is to facilitate their achievement. We are excited to meet the members and begin building the BNI Manchester West community.”
